Edward Yu

Edward Yu's work experience includes serving as the Managing Director of Investments at Ohana Real Estate Investors starting in January 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Distressed Credit professional at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. from March 2017 to June 2017. Edward pursued a JD/MBA at Kellogg School of Management and Northwestern Law from August 2014 to June 2017. Edward also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Davidson Kempner Capital Management in 2016, a Summer Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in 2016, and a Distressed Corporate Spring Intern at Lone Star Funds/Hudson Advisors in 2016. Additionally, Edward served as a Summer Associate in Investments at The John Buck Company in 2015. Edward worked as an Associate in Investments at The CIM Group from August 2012 to July 2014. Edward began their career as an Analyst at RBS Global Banking & Markets from August 2010 to May 2012, and as a Technology Analyst at Merrill Lynch from June 2009 to August 2009.

Edward Yu attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. During the same timeframe, they also attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
