Amina Benalioulhaj has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amina is currently working as a Human Resources Director at O'Hara's Son Roofing Company since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Oklahoma from June 2015 to April 2021 as a Senior International Admissions Counselor. Their responsibilities included traveling abroad to attract a diverse student population, communicating with prospective students through different media, and analyzing data for developing international travel strategies.
Amina also has experience as a documentary filmmaker, working as a Freelancer from 2004 to 2015 and at Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain in 2014. Amina has also worked on various film productions, including WOMEN BEHIND BARS Film Production as a Director, Producer, Editor, and Cinematographer from January 2010 to March 2014, and 475 Film Production as a Cinematographer in July 2012. Additionally, they have worked as a Set Production Assistant at Freihofer Casting in June 2005.
Amina Benalioulhaj obtained their Bachelor's degree in Women's and Gender Studies with a minor in African American Studies from the University of Oklahoma, attending from 2006 to 2011. In 2012, they also obtained a certification as a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher from the Ashtanga Yoga Studio. Amina then pursued further education and completed a Master's of Human Relations degree from the University of Oklahoma from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their academic pursuits, Amina also has experience in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, which they acquired at the Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain in 2006.
