Christoph Kuechel

Christoph Kuechel is a seasoned optical engineering professional with extensive experience in assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) for instrumentation in space applications. Since February 2011, Christoph has held multiple senior expert roles at OHB SE, including Group Lead Optical AIT Expert, where involvement in projects such as DLR's EnMAP and ESA's MTG, Plato Satellite, and Athena has been notable. Prior to that, experience includes roles as an Optical AIT Engineer at Astrium, an Optical Development Engineer at JENOPTIK AG, and a Senior Opto-Mech Engineer at Zygo Corporation, contributing to significant projects like the James Webb Space Telescope and the National Ignition Facility. Christoph's career began with a focus on opto-mechanical engineering at ADE Phase Shift and Carl Zeiss Oberkochen. Christoph holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
