Mia Caderas de Kerleau has a diverse work experience spanning several companies starting from 1995. Mia began their career at Philips, where they worked as a Hardware Development Engineer for DVB-S set-top-boxes, focusing on demodulators for the CanalSatellite receiver. Mia then joined Thales Alenia Space in 1998, working as a Network Design Engineer for the Skybridge project and later transitioning to the role of Space Quality/Product Assurance Manager for satellite equipment. At Thales, they were responsible for managing quality matters for international accounts and conducting equipment inspections. In 2008, Mia joined SSC - Swedish Space Corporation as the Head of Department for Quality and Safety in the Space Systems Division. Here, they also served as a Product Assurance Manager. In 2011, they moved to OHB Sweden AB, where they initially served as the Head of Department for Quality and Safety before taking on roles such as Product Assurance Manager, Head of Production and AIT, and a position on the Board of Directors.

Mia Caderas de Kerleau's education history showcases their academic journey in various institutions. In 1986, they attended Karolinska skolan in Örebro, Sweden, where they obtained an A level grade in Physical Sciences and Maths, completing their studies in 1989.
