Tim Leger is a Research Scientist at the Ohio Aerospace Institute, specializing in large scale, high fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations of hypersonic flows since February 2013. Previously, Tim served as an Adjunct Professor at Wright State University, teaching Fortran 90/95 programming and engineering fundamentals from January 2007 to March 2008. Tim's experience also includes a summer research position with the Air Force Office of Scientific Research in 1998, where boundary conditions were implemented in an aeroelastic and flutter solver, and a role as a Research Assistant at Wright State University, conducting experiments with a shock tube and contributing to a conference paper in 1998. Tim holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in engineering from Wright State University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
