Eric Kearney

Director Of Diversity, Equity And Inclusion at Ohio Chamber of Commerce

Eric Kearney is the President/CEO of The African American Chamber of Commerce: Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. In addition to his role at the Chamber, he serves as a Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Ohio Chamber of Commerce and as an Independent Director at Union Savings Bank, Red Fiber Holdings, Arlington Memorial Gardens, Ohio Chamber Health Benefits Insurance Trust, and Queens City Angels. Previously, he worked as an Attorney at Kearney & Kearney and served as a State Senator in the Ohio Senate, where he was the Minority Leader. Eric holds a A.B. degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Dartmouth College, a J.D. degree in Law from University of Cincinnati College of Law, and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Wharton Executive Education.

As the state’s leading business advocate and resource, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce aggressively champions free enterprise, economic competitiveness and growth for the benefit of all Ohioans. With 8,000 members ranging from small businesses to international companies, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business at the Statehouse. Founded in 1893, the Ohio Chamber is one of the state’s oldest business organizations. The Ohio Chamber is led by a volunteer board of directors that consists of 66 business leaders from all over the state. Our staff of 19 people includes lobbyists, political experts, membership specialists and knowledgeable support staff. The Ohio Chamber staff promotes the Chamber’s pro-business agenda with Ohio’s elected officials and manages membership services that help Chamber members run their businesses.
