Doug Babcock

Doug Babcock is an accomplished professional in water policy and legislative affairs. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Water Policy at the Ohio Environmental Council since August 2025, Babcock previously worked as Legislative Staff for the Ohio House of Representatives from October 2017 to February 2025. His extensive experience in governmental roles includes a position as Senior Legislative Assistant in the United States Senate from 2007 to 2014 and as Special Assistant in the Office of the Vice President of the United States from 1994 to 1999. Babcock holds a Master's degree from Ohio University and has a legal education from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, along with undergraduate education from Otterbein University.
