Andy Verhoff is an experienced professional in the field of history and preservation, currently serving as the Ohio History Fund & Outreach Manager at the Ohio History Connection since January 1998. Verhoff manages the Ohio History Fund grant program while also enhancing public education and community outreach initiatives within the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). Previously, Verhoff held various positions, including Team Lead for Local History Services, where responsibilities included training staff and co-coordinating the Ohio Historical Markers program. With a strong background in local history, Verhoff has successfully implemented impactful programs and secured substantial grant funding, including $694,000 in Ohio History Fund grants during the program's initial years. Verhoff's earlier roles include curating educational initiatives at the Ross County Historical Society and managing volunteer programs at the Ohio Historical Society. Verhoff holds a Master’s degree in Public History from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Ohio University.
