Ann Ruege

Ann Ruege currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at Ohio History Connection, leading fundraising, membership, and business development initiatives. With a background as a Major Gifts Officer, Ann has specialized in cultivating major donors and managing significant fundraising campaigns, including those for UNESCO World Heritage sites and historical recreations. Prior to Ohio History Connection, Ann held roles at ACLU of Ohio, contributing to comprehensive fundraising planning and donor engagement efforts. Ann's experience includes a decade at Cengage Learning, where leadership in sales and strategic initiatives led to substantial revenue growth in the higher education sector. Educational achievements include a graduate degree from the Fundraising Leadership Academy and a B.A. in English Creative Writing from Ohio University.
