Ohio House of Representatives
Beth Lear serves as a State Representative in the Ohio House of Representatives since August 2022 and previously held the position of candidate for State Representative. With extensive experience in legislative policy, Beth has worked with the Delaware County Republican Central Committee since 2010 and served as the VP of Government Affairs for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Ohio from February 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, self-employment as a legislative policy analyst and researcher spanned from January 2011 to February 2020. Beth's earlier involvement includes a candidacy for office within the Ohio House of Representatives in 2015-2016 and roles at The Buckeye Institute as an education policy analyst and legislative liaison. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in International Relations, Beth possesses a strong understanding of the legislative process, effective relationships within the General Assembly, and a focus on education and regulatory reform.
