Jim Thorne

Jim Thorne is an experienced professional currently serving as a State Representative for District 103 (Carmel, Hermon, Etna) since December 2020. Prior to this role, Jim Thorne was a Republican candidate for the Maine House of Representatives from January to December 2020. Between April 2013 and December 2020, Jim Thorne worked in advertising sales for Northwoods Sporting Journal, focusing on securing advertising contracts. From May 2004 to September 2012, Jim Thorne served as a relocation consultant for Parker K. Bailey / United Van Lines, managing all aspects of client relocations. Additionally, Jim Thorne has a notable background in the United States Air Force, holding various positions including Maine Recruiting Supervisor and New England Recruiting Trainer from December 1994 to February 2003. Education includes attendance at the Community College of the Air Force and graduation from Presque Isle High School.
