Megan Sorensen's work experience begins in 2018 when they worked as an Office Assistant at The Ohio State University. Megan then became a Resident Manager, where they supervised and trained a staff of 30 undergraduate students. In 2019, they interned at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission in marketing and communications. Later that year, they became a John Glenn Fellow at The Ohio State University's John Glenn College of Public Affairs, and also worked as a Public Affairs Intern at Nucor Corporation. In 2019, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Singlesource IT, where they composed quotes for IT sales bids and audited managed services. In 2020, they began their political career as a Legislative Intern for State Representative Brian Baldridge, followed by various legislative aide positions at the Ohio House of Representatives working for different representatives. Currently, they work as the Deputy Finance Director for the Ohio House of Representatives. Additionally, in 2020, they interned for the Kennedy for Ohio campaign. Megan also participated in the Fisher College of Business' Business Analytics Industry Immersion Program during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Megan Sorensen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Policy Analysis with a minor in Business from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University. Megan also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences. Megan was enrolled in these programs from 2016 to 2020.
