Taylor Oberst, CSDS began their professional career in 2002 as a Project Manager for Sarcom, where they managed large department PC deployments and upgrades for Nationwide Insurance. Taylor also worked alongside the application development team to advise and test secure data transfer for backups and deployments of new user systems. In 2003, they joined Ohio Mobile Shredding as Vice President (Operations, Marketing & IT). Theirfull time duties included fleet and warehouse management and operations, as well as webmaster and in-house IT expert roles. Taylor was also responsible for the design and creation of marketing applications.

Taylor Oberst obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Ohio University between 1997 and 2002. Prior to that, they attended Watkins Memorial HS from 1993 to 1997. In March 2011, they obtained the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist (CSDS) certification from the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID).
