Daniel "D.J." Myers

Deputy Director, Campaigns at Ohio River South

Beginning his professional life in pursuit of a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, D.J. Myers got the bug for politics when he volunteered on a political candidate campaign, and following this passion, a new career was born. His first paid gig was serving as an events team leader for a presidential campaign and then transitioned to campaign coordinator in a U.S. Congressional race. Once the 2020 elections came to a close, he built on his experience at the consulting firm NAI Strategies in Lawrenceville, Ga. where he conducted donor research, fundraising and outreach and developed content for both donors and the media. He went on to serve as volunteer coordinator for the Gwinnett County Democratic Party before ORS snagged him as an intern to support clients during the 2021 Georgia General Assembly.

As deputy director of campaigns, D.J. collaborates with the managing partner and the director of campaigns on business development, administration, and operations for Ohio River South’s political campaigns and candidates. He also supports clients through the company’s paid phones service.

In his volunteer work that culminated in his current position at ORS, D.J. attended the National Democratic Training Committee Staff Academy as well as Repower Campaign Data and Analytics Camp and served as campaigns director for Young Democrats of Georgia. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University.
