Alan Chalker, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of AweSim at The Ohio Supercomputer Center since July 2013. Prior to this role, Alan was the Director of Client Engineering at the same organization. Before joining OSC, Alan worked at Embrex as a Controls Engineer, leading a research and development project focused on creating an automated gender determination process for poultry. Alan holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
