Julie Cromer

Julie Cromer is the current Director of Athletics at Ohio University. Julie has held this position since August 2019. Prior to their current role, Cromer was the Associate Vice Chancellor and Senior Deputy Athletics Director/SWA at the University of Arkansas from May 2014 to August 2019. From July 2010 to May 2014, they served as the Executive Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator at Indiana University Bloomington. Cromer began their career in 1999 as an academic and membership affairs coordinator at the NCAA.

Julie Cromer holds an MPA from the IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a BS in Communications Management from Missouri State University. Julie has worked in policy analysis for many years and is currently a senior analyst at a think tank in Washington, D.C.

They work with Mark J. Heil - Interim VP for Finance & Administration, Chris Ament - Chief Information Officer, and Elizabeth Sayrs - EVP & Provost. Julie Cromer reports to Duane Nellis, President.
