Executive Director Of Stark, Summit And Portage County Programs at OHIOGUIDESTONE

Monica Mlinac has over 20 years of experience in the field of social services. Monica has worked for OhioGuidestone since 1999, initially starting as an Assistant Director of Care Management and later becoming the Assistant Director of Family Treatment. Monica then served as the Assistant Director of Stark, Summit, and Portage County Programs, followed by the role of Director of Program Development. Currently, Monica holds the position of Executive Director of Stark, Summit, and Portage County Programs at OhioGuidestone. Before joining OhioGuidestone, Monica worked at Berea Children's Home & Family Services, now known as OhioGuidestone, where they held the roles of In Home Therapist and Site Supervisor/Diagnostic Assessment Supervisor for the Pro Kids and Families Program.

Monica Mlinac obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Walsh University between the years 1987 and 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Community Health Services/Liaison/Counseling from The University of Akron, which they completed between 1991 and 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Monica Mlinac obtained several certifications throughout their career. In September 2001, they became a Certified Trauma and Loss Consultant and School Specialist, receiving this certification from The National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children. Furthermore, in July 1996, they obtained a license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision Endorsement from the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board.
