Ryan Clopton-Zymler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Ryan is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at OhioGuidestone since December 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Sage & Maven, LLC in September 2020 and worked as a Consultant. Ryan also worked as the Director of Race, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the United Way of Greater Cleveland from December 2021 to April 2022. Ryan Clopton-Zymler has experience in the field of inclusion and diversity in the healthcare sector, having served as the Assistant Director of the Office of Inclusion at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine from January 2018 to December 2021. Ryan has also contributed significantly to the LGBTQ+ community as the Community Relations Manager at The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland from January 2015 to January 2018, where they focused on providing training programs, managing organizational communication, and developing partnerships. Additionally, they have worked as a Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Provider at Connections Health Wellness Advocacy from December 2011 to January 2014 and as a Youth Intervention Specialist at Parmadale Family Services from August 2011 to December 2011.

Ryan Clopton-Zymler completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio University from 2007 to 2011. Ryan then pursued a Master of Science in Social Administration with a focus on Direct Practice Mental Health from Case Western Reserve University from 2012 to 2015.
