Craig Grooms has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on engineering, operations, and resource scheduling. Craig began their career in 1985 as a Sonar Technician in the US Navy. After completing their service, they joined Dayton Power and Light in 1995, where they held various roles, including Energy Trader, Generation & Transmission System Operator, and Gas Operations Analyst. In 2001, they transitioned to NRG Energy as an Energy Trader and Generation Coordinator. Craig then joined Ohio's Electric Cooperatives in 2004, initially serving as the Director of Resource Scheduling before being promoted to Vice President of Engineering and Operations in 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ohio's Electric Cooperatives.
