Charles Sasaki

Charles Sasaki currently serves as the President and Superintendent of Ohlone College, beginning in July 2023, where collaboration with the Board of Trustees and various stakeholders aims to enhance the institution's appeal to high school dual enrollment students and university-bound transfers. Prior to this role, Charles held significant positions at Windward Community College, serving as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of Academic Affairs, focusing on academic operations and recognition for a positive work environment. Experience also includes leadership roles at Kapiolani Community College, Hawaii Pacific University, Chaminade University of Honolulu, and more, with a strong emphasis on student affairs, faculty development, and diversity initiatives. Charles has an academic background that includes a Master of Arts in Comparative Culture and a Bachelor of Arts in History, with additional doctoral coursework in American Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
