Martin Hughes

Martin Hughes has an extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Martin is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Ohme since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Technology and Engineering at mkodo from April 2022 to June 2022. From February 2021 to April 2022, they were the CTO at MotorK. Martin also held the position of CTO at Moteefe from July 2019 to January 2021. Martin worked as the Director of Technology at Freesat from September 2018 to June 2019. Before that, they held significant roles at Simplifydigital, starting as the Head of Development from January 2014 to January 2017, and later served as the Development Director from January 2017 to August 2018. Martin began their career at BigHand in 2002 and held several positions including Software Engineering Manager from August 2010 to December 2013.

Martin Hughes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to their university education, they attended Churston Ferrers Grammar School from 1991 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Martin obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2011.
