Maria Johnson

Maria Johnson, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Ohnward Bancshares, Inc., where strategic marketing efforts for affiliated companies are led. Previously, Maria held the position of Communications Division Manager for the City of Cedar Rapids, overseeing marketing and communications plans and leading a team to significantly boost social media following and newsletter subscriptions. Experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Collins Community Credit Union, managing marketing strategies and public relations, and early roles as Account Executive at Heisler Gordon and Associates and Marketing Specialist at CIVCO Medical Instruments, providing comprehensive marketing and advertising solutions. Maria holds an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, a Credit Union Certified Marketing Executive designation, and a BA in Public Relations/Communications from the University of Northern Iowa.
