Heeyeon Kim

Heeyeon Kim has a diverse work experience, with roles in software engineering and machine learning. Starting in 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Bucketplace. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at XBrain, Inc., where they gained experience in defining and solving business problems using machine learning techniques. Heeyeon also familiarized herself with MLOps pipeline and Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. Additionally, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Samsung Display from 2019 to 2020. Heeyeon Kim also has experience in academia, working as an Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2019.

Heeyeon Kim completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Korea University from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2018.
