Julio Oliva

Julio Oliva has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Julio's most recent position was as a Product Specialist at Ohpen, where they focused on the efficient administration of retail investment and savings accounts using a cloud-native core-banking engine. Prior to that, Julio worked as a Sr. Business Consultant at One project, providing Business Process Outsourcing over a core banking system platform, and as a Business consultant at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, centro de desarrollo, providing support for managing and migrating the conversion of a development bank to a Social Public Bank.

In addition, Julio has experience working at The World Bank as a Programe Manager Sr., overseeing a massive transformation and integration project in the small savings and credit sector. Julio also held positions at GMAC Trade Finance as an Operations & Finance Manager, at Citibank as a Product Manager, at Chase as a Finance Manager, at Citi as a GCB Operations Manager, and at Banco Santander Mexico as a Branch Officer.

Throughout their career, Julio has demonstrated expertise in areas such as business consultation, financial inclusion, banking operations, risk management, accounting, regulatory reporting, and project management.

Julio Oliva has a diverse education history. In 1990, they attended the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Corporate Finance. Julio completed their studies in 1994.

In 2010, Julio enrolled in the Universidad CEU San Pablo and pursued a Master's degree in B&A (Business and Administration). Julio completed this program in 2011.

Currently, Julio is studying at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Since 2018, they have been working towards earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.
