Rodrigo Abreu

Rodrigo Abreu is the current Chief Executive Officer at Oi, a Brazilian telecommunications company. Prior to their current role, they were the CEO/Presidente at Quod from March 2017 to October 2019.

Quod is a data management company that was created by the merger of the five largest banks in Brazil - Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Caixa Econômica Federal, Itaú-Unibanco, and Santander. The company's goal is to establish a differentiated company in the Brazilian credit information market.

Utilizing the opportunity provided by the Positive Register law, the intention is to create a company that can act in an innovative way in the market of traditional "Credit Bureaus", but with an approach focused on the development of differentiated products that can positively transform the Brazilian credit sector, both for banks and other institutions that require credit information (e.g. Retail, Continuous Service Providers) and for consumers of credit, whether individuals or corporations.

With the dissemination of the use and importance of positive credit history, the company believes that it can help develop positive financial education aspects of the Brazilian population, which can, given the benefits of this model, develop and maintain their credit and payment history as a true personal/business financial asset. This model of operation will also enable both individuals and legal entities to have greater knowledge and control over their credit operations, creating a virtuous circle for the country's economy: better-informed citizens and companies, generating better consumption habits and credit and payment histories, reducing current levels of delinquency and over-indebtedness, leading to greater access and better conditions of credit, and making it possible for the economy to develop and generate benefits for these citizens and companies.

Rodrigo Abreu has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Rodrigo also attended Colégio São Luis.
