Sylvia Long

Sylvia Long is an experienced educator specializing in literacy and GED instruction, currently serving as the GED Coordinator and Reading/Writing Instructor at CCPrep.com since September 2015. In addition to this role, Sylvia has been a Literacy Instructor at Opportunities Industrialization Center and OIC of Washington since June 2014, focusing on curriculum development aligned with CASAS Reading and Math Standards and implementing lesson plans for CORE Standards. Previously, Sylvia worked as a GED Instructor at Project Empowerment (PR Harris) from April 2011 to June 2014 and at Ballou S.T.A.Y. from December 2009 to June 2014. Sylvia holds a degree from Bowie State University, earned between 2000 and 2010, and is an alumna of Ballou High School, graduating in 1974.
