Ben Simmes

Ben Simmes has a wealth of work experience in various roles and organizations. Ben began their career in 1988 as the Manager of Organizational Development at Kinayihan Foundation in Davao, Philippines. In 1992, they moved to CMC in den Haag, where they served as the Manager of the Department of Overseas Personnel until 2006. Since 2000, Ben has been working at Oikocredit, where they currently hold the position of Director of Social Performance and Financial Analysis.

Ben Simmes attended the College for Social Work from 1967 to 1971 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Following this, Ben enrolled at Utrecht University for an MA degree in Comparative Sociology and Economy. The start and end years for this degree are not provided.
