Celia Velasco

Celia Velasco has extensive work experience in finance and investment roles. Celia started their career at Deloitte Mexico in 2005 as a Staff De Auditoría, where they conducted audits for manufacturing and construction companies. Celia also participated in the coordination of Public Procurement Processes for the sale of mortgage credit portfolios. Celia then moved on to Ocesa in 2009, where they worked as a COORDINADORA DE PLANEACIÓN FINANCIERA, focusing on business valuation and financial planning. In 2010, Celia joined Oikocredit as a Financial and Social Analyst, where they provided support in due diligence for debt and investment projects, as well as monitoring and reporting on project performance. Celia subsequently held various roles at Oikocredit, including Project Officer & Social Performance and Investments Officer. Celia currently serves as a Senior Investments Officer at Oikocredit.

Celia Velasco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance from Universidad Panamericana, where they studied from 2013 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Productos Financieros Estructurados at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, completing their studies between 2020 and 2021. Prior to these achievements, Celia also attended Universidad Panamericana from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Accounting, specializing in information systems.
