Omer Bostanci

Omer Bostanci has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Omer is currently working as a Financial Risk Officer at Oikocredit since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GarantiBank International NV from 2012 to 2022. At GarantiBank International NV, they held several roles including Country & FI Credit & Global Markets Sales Risk - Credits Division from January 2018 to November 2022, Senior Credit Analyst from January 2017 to January 2018, Credit Analyst from January 2015 to January 2017, and Associate from September 2012 to January 2015. Prior to joining GarantiBank International NV, Omer worked at Garanti Bank as a Credit Analytics Associate from March 2010 to September 2012. Omer also gained internship experience at Fontys Hogescholen in September and October 2007.

Omer Bostanci started their education at Robert College from 1996 to 2003, where they obtained a Secondary & High School Math & Science Diploma. Omer then attended Istanbul Technical University from 2003 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, in 2008 and 2009, they studied at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Project Management and Operational Development & Risk Management. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Introduction to Power BI from DataCamp in August 2020, SQL Fundamentals Skill Track (21 hours) from DataCamp in May 2020, Introduction to Python from DataCamp in January 2019, and Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in January 2019.
