Mark LaCour began their work experience in 1997 as a Strategic Account Manager for AT&T, where they focused on revenue generation and market development for Oil and Gas accounts. Mark then worked as a Sales Director for IntraPoint, a Norwegian software company, where they focused on penetrating the US and Latin America Oil & Gas markets. Following that, they joined Forrester Research as a Key Account Director, managing relationships and growing sales within Fortune 50 Oil and Gas clients. In 2011, Mark became the Director of modalpoint, a global sales enablement company that specializes in the Oil and Gas industry. Currently, Mark is the Editor In Chief of Oil and Gas Global Network, overseeing the accurate storytelling of the industry and managing a large global audience.
Mark LaCour attended Zachary High School from 1978 to 1982. After completing high school, they went on to study at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1982 to 1988. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Wildlife Management.
