Zaheer Abbas Sheikh

Zaheer Abbas Sheikh is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Junior Engineering Assistant at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd since May 2021, Zaheer has been involved in the erection, commissioning, and operation of a 51 MW combined cycle power plant and a co-generation plant. Prior to this role, Zaheer worked at Reliance Industries Limited as an Executive from February 2016 to May 2021, where responsibilities included the commissioning and operation of significant boiler and turbine systems. Zaheer also gained experience as a Junior Engineer at Adani Power, specializing in boiler and turbine operations for large capacity plants, and started a career as a Diploma Engineer Trainee at FAG Bearings India Ltd. Zaheer holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and a similar diploma from Government Polytechnic Jamnagar.
