Yasmith Bernal

Yasmith Bernal has extensive experience in the agricultural and scientific sectors, currently serving as General Manager of Crop and Horticultural Products at Oil-Dri Corporation of America since April 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing a sales group focused on developing sales opportunities in the AgChem segment. Prior experience includes working as an Applications Scientist at Oil-Dri, contributing to the commercialization of an agricultural carrier product and providing technical support for pesticide formulations. Yasmith Bernal's earlier roles also include serving as a Research Associate at Nanosphere, developing ultrasensitive assays for protein and DNA detection, and at Hologic (formerly Gen-Probe), designing and executing experiments for quantitative assays for HIV and Hepatitis B. Yasmith Bernal holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Sciences from National University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and Biology from Northern Illinois University.
