Sumit Maheshwari

Sumit Maheshwari has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Sumit started their career in 1999 as an Audit Assistant at Khimji Kunverji & Co., where they completed their training and articleship. Sumit then moved to Stallion Group in 2002 as an Executive Finance. In 2003, they joined Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance as Manager - MIS and Business Planning, where they were involved in corporate MIS and business planning, budgeting, financial analysis, regulator reporting, projections, and management reporting. In 2006, they joined Tionale Ent Pte Ltd as Manager. In 2010, they joined Mercator Limited as General Manager in the Energy vertical, handling strategy, commercials, deal structuring, fund raising, commercial negotiations, contract finalization, relationship management, liaisoning, investor relations, branding, and corporate communication. Finally, in 2017, they joined Oilmax Energy Pvt Ltd as Senior Vice President.

Sumit Maheshwari completed an Accelerated Management Programme from the Indian School of Business in 2012. Sumit then pursued a CFA from the US in Investment from 2005 to 2008. Sumit also completed a CA from ICAI in Accounts & Finance from 1999 to 2002.
