Oilon
Kati Savolainen has a strong background in engineering and combustion systems. They started their career as a Research Engineer at Imatran Voima Oy in 1992 and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they held the position of Design Engineer at Fortum Engineering. They then moved to ÅF as a Specialist of Low-NOx burners and combustion systems and held that role until 2007. In 2007, they became the Manager of Low-NOx burners and NOx reduction at Sirius Engineers Ltd, and in 2008, they joined Fortum as a Senior Specialist in combustion. Their most recent role is Head of Global Engineering Department at Oilon, which they began in 2021.
Kati Savolainen completed their M.Sc. (Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1985 to 1992.
