Michelle Penque

Michelle Penque currently serves as the Medical Director for Commercial at Excellus BCBS since January 2023. Additionally, Michelle has been an Emergency Room Physician and the Medical Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at John R. Oishei Children's Hospital since November 1997. Michelle is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, a position held since August 1997. Previously, Michelle was the Associate Chair of Hospital Operations at UBMD Pediatrics from September 2021 to January 2023. Michelle earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo between 1990 and 1994.
