Aarti Kapoor

Aarti Kapoor has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Aarti is currently serving as the Vice President of Commercial Strategy at Oivi, a company specializing in intelligent retinal devices for early screening of diabetes-related eye diseases. In this role, they contribute to business development, stakeholder engagement, and commercial insights. Prior to this, Aarti worked as the Director of Commercial Strategy and Business Development at Oivi from 2018 to 2022.

Before joining Oivi, Aarti was a Partner at Ventac Partners, a life science consulting firm, from 2011 to 2023. At Ventac Partners, they were involved in founding new innovative companies, intellectual property development, fundraising, deal-making, strategy consulting, and corporate finance.

Aarti's earlier experience includes being a Co-founder and Director at StrataPRO Analytics and Consulting from 2007 to 2009, serving as a Consultant at IMS Health (previously Pharmarc Analytics) from 2005 to 2007, and working as an Independent Market Research Consultant from 2001 to 2003.

Aarti started their career as a Research Assistant at Emory University in 2000.

Aarti Kapoor started their education at Sardar Patel University from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology. Following this, they attended Kingston University from 1998 to 1999 and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in BioMedical Science. Later, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Marketing at Ohio University.
