James Karvounaris has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James started their career as an Electronic Technician at BEI Electronics in 1998. James then moved on to Fone Zone, where they served as a Sales Manager and received the National Sales Manager of the Year 2000 award. James also became a qualified sales group trainer during their time there. After Fone Zone, James joined Surelabs IT as a National Account Executive, where they worked until December 2005. In 2006, they joined Monster Fish as a Business Development Manager, specializing in global online sales, event management, product development, and importing. James'srole at Monster Fish lasted for over 11 years until June 2017. Following Monster Fish, James took up the role of National Account Manager at Yuto from July 2017 to June 2018. Currently, they work at Oji Fibre Solutions as an Account Manager, beginning in July 2018. Additionally, in 2014, James briefly served as the Corporate Sales Manager at Gforce Simulators from August 2014 to August 2016. Throughout their career, James has developed a wide range of skills and expertise in sales, account management, business development, and product importing.

James Karvounaris completed their education at two institutions. From 1994 to 1997, they attended RMIT University, where they obtained a degree in Engineering Electrotechnology, specializing in Electromechanical Technology/Electromechanical Engineering Technology. James later enrolled at the Australian Open Learning Institute in 2004 and completed a certification program in Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations, General, gaining the title of Certified Small Groups Trainer.
