Ockert Coetzee

Ockert Coetzee has extensive work experience in project management and engineering. Ockert started their career in 2007 as a Junior Technician at Ame Technologies. Ockert then progressed to become a Project Manager and Engineer at the same company from January 2010 to June 2011.

In 2011, Coetzee joined Guduza System Technologies (Pty) Ltd as a Senior Field Technologist and later became a Project Manager in the field services department. During their time there, they were responsible for managing installation and commissioning projects in the mining industry, as well as assisting technicians with radio communication and network systems.

In 2016, Coetzee joined Tetra Pak (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, where they took on the role of Installation Site Supervisor for filling line projects in the food and beverage industry. Ockert then transitioned to become a Project Manager, responsible for integrating activities to deliver project objectives and managing project scope.

Currently, Coetzee works as a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation at Oji Fibre Solutions since January 2023. Overall, they have a diverse skillset including electrical project management, engineering management, project engineering, communication, leadership, and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Ockert Coetzee attended Tshwane University of Technology from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Baccalaureus Technologiae degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Ockert Coetzee has also obtained certifications in project management. Ockert received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2017 and the Agile Hybrid Project Pro certification from the same institution in February 2022.
