Travis Huisken, MPA, CPM, has extensive experience in law enforcement and education. Currently serving as an Inspector in the Professional Standards Division of Okaloosa County since June 2014, Travis has progressed from Corrections Officer 1 to Inspector, overseeing training programs for staff. Additionally, Travis has been an Adjunct Instructor at Northwest Florida State College since June 2017. Prior roles include Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Samuel Peek, Corrections Officer with the Florida Department of Corrections, and Juvenile Detention Officer with the State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Travis holds a Master of Public Administration from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida State University.
