Okaloosa Gas District
Adam Ziglar is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in safety, workforce development, and journalism. Since December 2012, Adam has held multiple roles at Okaloosa Gas District, including Safety Specialist, Workforce Development Coordinator, and Senior Leak Technician. Prior experience includes positions as a copy editor and page designer at The News & Observer Publishing Company from January 2009 to September 2011, and as an education reporter for the Pensacola News Journal from 2006 to 2008. Adam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, with a focus on Public Relations, from the University of West Florida between 2001 and 2003.
Okaloosa Gas District
Okaloosa Gas District (the District) is a natural gas utility that constructs, operates and maintains a natural gas transmission and distribution system located over three county area in Northwest Florida. The District serves almost 50,000 natural gas residential and commercial customers. The District also serves Whiting Field in Santa Rosa County, and Eglin, Hurlburt, Duke, Ammo, TAC, Red Horse and the 7th Special Forces military installations in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Additionally the District sells gas to the city utilities of Milton and Gulf Breeze, and transports gas for TECO Peoples Gas in Panama City Beach. The District is a full service utility, providing a variety of gas related services including piping and installation in addition to offering a variety of gas burning appliances.
