Okaloosa Gas District
Tori Chapel currently serves as Permit Coordinator II at Okaloosa Gas District since July 2023, having previously held the position of Permit Coordinator I. Prior to this role, Tori Chapel worked at ADT Solar from November 2020 to June 2023 as the Permitting Lead, overseeing permitting processes across multiple states including Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Earlier experience includes positions as Permit Coordinator and Permit Runner at Sunpro Solar Energy Specialists from March 2020 to November 2020.
Okaloosa Gas District
Okaloosa Gas District (the District) is a natural gas utility that constructs, operates and maintains a natural gas transmission and distribution system located over three county area in Northwest Florida. The District serves almost 50,000 natural gas residential and commercial customers. The District also serves Whiting Field in Santa Rosa County, and Eglin, Hurlburt, Duke, Ammo, TAC, Red Horse and the 7th Special Forces military installations in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Additionally the District sells gas to the city utilities of Milton and Gulf Breeze, and transports gas for TECO Peoples Gas in Panama City Beach. The District is a full service utility, providing a variety of gas related services including piping and installation in addition to offering a variety of gas burning appliances.
