Matthew Gonzalez

Matthew Gonzalez is a dedicated manufacturing and process engineer with a diverse background in engineering roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Engineer at Okami Medical since December 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Process Engineer at Applied Medical, where responsibilities included designing and qualifying manufacturing processes for laparoscopic surgical tools. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Aztec Racing as Chief Engineer and Drivetrain Lead, focusing on drivetrain subsystem design using SolidWorks and ANSYS for a Formula SAE team. An internship with NASA involved improving propeller efficiency through modeling techniques, and early work experience includes customer service and team leadership roles. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, completed in 2021.
