Hoang Nguyen

Hoang Nguyen is a seasoned geoscientist currently serving as a Senior Geologist at OKEA ASA since July 2024. Previously, Hoang held roles as a Geo/Data Scientist at Earth Science Analytics AS and a PhD Candidate at the University of Stavanger, where focus areas included applying Machine Learning for seismic interpretation and lithofacies prediction. Hoang's experience includes internships and positions at Vår Energi, Neptune Energy, and Schlumberger, emphasizing geological process modeling, seismic data analysis, and technical support. Hoang holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Petroleum Geoscience and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Stavanger, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Geology Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
