Sarbjyot Haarberg

Sarbjyot Haarberg has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Sarbjyot has held various roles in different companies over the years. Haarberg is currently working at OKEA ASA as a Principal SURF Engineer, where they started in March 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior SURF Engineer at the same company from December 2022 to March 2023. Prior to joining OKEA ASA, Haarberg worked at FORCE Technology Norway AS as a Principal Engineer in Subsea Integrity Management from June 2017 to November 2022. Sarbjyot also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) from August 2016 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Haarberg worked at MainTech AS as a Principal Engineer in Materials Technology and Inspection from July 2008 to August 2016, and as a Senior Engineer from 2008 to 2010. Sarbjyot also worked at MARINTEK as a Research Scientist from January 2007 to June 2008, and at SINTEF as a Research Scientist from May 2000 to December 2006. Haarberg began their career as a PhD candidate at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), conducting research on dimension stable anodes in zinc electrowinning from 1996 to 2000.

Sarbjyot Haarberg completed a PhD in Electrochemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Electrochemistry from the same university from 1991 to 1995.
