Therese Hope

Principal Process Engineer at Okea

Therese Hope has a strong background in process engineering and process safety within the oil and gas industry. Therese started their career as a Process Engineer at Aker Kvaerner from January 1999 to July 2005. Therese then joined Statoil as a Principle Engineer Upstream Process Safety, where they worked from August 2005 to September 2013. Following that, Therese worked at Neptune Energy as a Sr. Process Engineer on the Nova tie-back Project from June 2017 to April 2018. Therese then joined Wintershall Dea, where they held multiple roles, including Technical Committees (TC) representative in partner operated licenses and Process Safety Responsible, from October 2013 to October 2022. Therese is currently working at OKEA ASA as a Principal Process Engineer starting in November 2022.

Therese Hope obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Bergen University College (HiB) from 1993 to 1996. Therese then pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1996 to 1998.
