Robert Davenport

Robert Davenport is the current Director of Athletics at Oklahoma Baptist University. Robert has previous experience working as a Head Men's Basketball Coach and Instructor of Kinesiology at Missouri Baptist University from August 1998 to October 1999. Robert also served as the Head Men Basketball Coach and Director of Solheim Fitness Center at LeTourneau University from August 1997 to June 1998. Davenport has been with Oklahoma Baptist University in some capacity since 1993, first as an Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach and Head Men's Tennis Coach from June 1993 to August 1997, then as Chief Financial Officer from October 1991 to June 1997, and finally as Head Basketball Coach from June 2006 to May 2011. Prior to their work in higher education, Davenport was a Field Service Representative for ITT Commercial Finance from February 1988 to October 1991.

Robert Davenport has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Oklahoma Baptist University and a M.A. in Secondary Education from East Central University.
