Matt Bell

Matt Bell currently serves as a Trustee at Oklahoma Christian University. Prior to their current position, Matt worked at DocJuris and ZTE Corporation. At ZTE Corporation, Matt served as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Export Compliance Officer (CECO), and Legal Counsel. During their time at ZTE, Matt reached a record-setting criminal settlement for $1.19B USD in March 2017 with DOJ, BIS, & OFAC. In addition, they successfully obtained removal from the Entity List in March 2017 and from the Denied Persons List in July 2018. Matt also expanded SAP-GTS system and built out an export compliance and sanctions compliance program based on industry leading standards.

Matt Bell has a J.D. from Faulkner University, a B.B.A. in Business/Spanish from Oklahoma Christian University, and an LL.M. in International Trade and International Finance from The John Marshall Law School. Matt is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Texas and Alabama.
