Epidemiologist at Oklahoma City Indian Clinic

Amruta Atre is an Epidemiologist with experience in conducting epidemiological investigations and programs to prevent and control diseases. Amruta has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Research Assistant conducting literature reviews and analyzing patient data. With a background in dental surgery and public health, Amruta has volunteered in free dental check-up programs and served underprivileged groups while working as an Associate Dentist. Additionally, Amruta has experience coordinating STEM projects for students and assisting in administrative tasks.

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit clinic providing health and wellness services to American Indians in central Oklahoma. It was established in 1974 to provide excellent health care and wellness services to American Indians in central Oklahoma. The clinic staff cares for more than 20,000 patients from over 200 federally recognized tribes every year. American Indians can receive a range of services, including medical, dental, pediatrics, prenatal, pharmacy, optometry, physical fitness, nutrition, family programs, and behavioral health services.
