Tony Katzenmeier

Tony Katzenmeier has over a decade of experience in athletic training, currently serving as the Director of Athletic Training for the Oklahoma City Thunder since June 2010. In addition to this role, Tony has held various positions including Athletic Trainer and Medical Research Coordinator/Athletic Trainer. Prior experience includes serving as the Athletic Trainer for USA Basketball and working as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Athletes' Performance / Core Performance. Tony began the career as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Eastern Illinois University, where responsibilities included overseeing the sports medicine needs of intercollegiate athletes. Academically, Tony holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Kansas State University, and an Associate of Science degree from Butler Community College.
