Shannon Griffin

Shannon Griffin serves as a General Dentist at Juan R. Lopez DDS since January 2021 and has been a Faculty Member at the University of Oklahoma since June 1998, where responsibilities include directing the Advanced Education of General Dentistry program, focusing on curriculum development and management of a dental clinic team. Griffin also trains clinicians in CEREC technology as a Certified CEREC CAD/CAM Trainer for Patterson Dental starting in 2010. Past leadership roles within the Oklahoma Dental Association include Presidential positions and serving as Vice President and Alternate Delegate. As the former owner of Griffin Smiles Comprehensive Dentistry (1999-2022), oversight of operations and team training was a priority. Educational credentials include a DMD from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from New Mexico State University.
